Kalnins, M.D., Director of Advanced Vision & Laser Care Center, is a board
certified ophthalmologist (eye physician) with experience in refractive,
or vision enhancing surgery. She is a graduate of Georgetown School of
Medicine and is a microsurgeon with over ten years of experience.
Dr. Kalnins participates in continuing medical education and is one of
the first board certified ophthalmologists in Morris County to be
recertified.
In fact, she was the
first female phacoemulsification surgeon in Morristown. Additionally she
has a fellowship in anterior segment surgery which means she has
received extensive advanced education on the latest ophthalmic
technology such as laser surgery and cataract removal.
Dr. Kalnins offers LASIK,
the most advanced refractive procedure to date. She is a fellow of the
American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Cataract and
Refractive Surgeons, The American Medical Association, New Jersey
Medical Society and Morris County Medical Society.
